"What I can see uniquely about Pamela is this gift of a direct straight forward style. She pulls no punches. Which for me is great because then I feel like I can really trust her. At the same time, and this is more difficult to put into words, she brings a presence that welcomes a person's spirit. She has an ability to make each session poignant. I think this is because what she is truly after is her clients' transformation. If this is what you're looking for, I'd recommend calling her."--BL
These are not easy times. We face stress, heaviness, overwhelm, even despair. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn.
I believe in therapy. Without therapy, I might not be here. There were times along the way when I almost lost hope, times when I was blinded by anger at the world and at myself. When I found a Hakomi therapist, I finally had someone who took my hand, walked with me through the dark woods of my mind, and reintroduced me to my body. It was the first step on a long journey, and it continues.
My path has included a decade as a bodyworker, spiritual practices, many creative outlets, developing communication skills and surrounding myself with nourishing community. Talk therapy alone would never have sufficed.
I believe inside every person is the potential for their own healing. Often our wounding began with our earliest relationships. A safe, loving therapeutic relationship can be a womb for creating new ways of relating. I'm passionate about working with couples. I see intimate relationship as a vehicle for growth.
